Comment: This project required me to build a distribution that can be used to build a site on a short notice.
My contributions: Customized the theme to implement the page layout wireframe designs. This site is built using the custom Drupal distribution I developed earlier. The biggest challenge in this site is implementing the eCommerce feature using UberCart framework. Need huge amount of custom coding to generate reports and implement recurring charge and gift certificate within UberCart frame work.

My contributions: I was the project lead and principal developer for this site building project. I was responsible for the design, data structure design, user experience, custom coding, feature implementations. Worked alongside of a front-end developer to custom code theme template files.

My Contributions: Helped them to refine content creation, editing and updating processes.

ArtistWorks

Comments: This site is the marketing site for this startup. This company's main service is to offer online music / art learning for small monthly or yearly fee.
My Contributions: I refined the client's project requirements, brought clarity to building the site and its scalability. Essentially developed style sheets and templates to implement photoshop page layout images and was responsible for the information architecture, custom coding and features implementation.

Comment: Marketing site for a travel industry company. I designed several helpful techniques to expand the business and bring traffic to the site. This site has healthy dose of custom module code.
My Contributions: I joined the team after the site was built half way with the required features. I integrated Twitter API to generate Lead. Also worked with designing firm in Boise, Idaho to offer custom web site builder for the Inn owners who are the paying subscribers of this site.

Comment: This is my first Drupal project. I started this project in D4.7 version and then upgraded it to D5.1. This client's business is a franchise model and needed to have a seamless communication among their franchisees.
My Contributions: Helped the client to understand what is possible via Drupal CMS platform to setup intra and internet sites. Used Organic Groups framework to setup communication among the franchisees to allow them freely exchange business ideas. I was the sole developer for the front and backends.

CalAcademy

Comment: Content rich site. Built as an improvement over an existing custom LAMP based CMS. Has integration with proprietary eCommerce package Galaxy. Content creation process is involved with multiple stages of approval with several stakeholders. The design of this site addresses several of on-going issues recognized in maintaining this site in the past.
My Contributions: I was the lead for this project. Worked with a graphic designing firm in developing page layouts. Trained the internal team of developers and was the resource for anything related Drupal CMS.

CalAcademy Research Site

Comment: This is a content rich site with need to keep up with new content addition. Also needed to make the content creation process easy for scientists.
My Contributions: I was lead for this project and consultant for Drupal CMS. Worked closely with the team member for front and backend implementations.

Comment: This project uses Drupal CMS as backend platform for storing content with web service delivering content to the iPads. iPads were mounted next to exhibits for an immersive experience for CalAcademy visitors.
My contributions: I designed the backend CMS using Drupal 7.12 version and the front-end was developed in collaboration with another developer due to time constraints.

Comment: This is an ambitious project with evolving requirements. As a startup, the owner was trying out various ideas to create a vibrant online community for Dual Income No Kid demographic.
My Contributions: I integrated Groupon API with custom filters to display only the deals relevant to this site's visitors. Used Web Service with REST server for this integration. Also developed custom reports to monitor the Groupon monetizing trail.

My Contributions: I was sole developer for the back and front ends. I created theme templates and style sheets to implement the artist's photoshop page layouts. Created content types, navigation menu to implement the client's well polished business requirements.

Comment: Hosted on Pantheon platform. This site gives information for researchers about active and archived projects focused on AIDS research.
My contributions: I added the display of project information on a Leaflet map. Mainly I built the map block on the Home page and the interactive map page (http://globalprojects.ucsf.edu/map).

VisWeek

Comment: This is a conference site, which automatically archives past conference material. Navigation to past conference material is seamless preserving page layout and style. Designing this site was challenging as it was ahead of its time in terms of its requirements.
My Contributions: Developed a Drupal distribution as this client organizes several conferences and wanted to build a site for each one of those conferences. Having a Drupal distro had helped the client to shorten the setting up time for a conference site.

ISMAR

Comment: It is conference site. This site has three distinct phases, i.e. pre, during and post conference. The content has to evolve with these phases. It is a challenging design.
My Contributions: I was responsible for developing backend features and theme templates. I worked with a graphic designing firm which developed the style sheets to realize their page layout design.

Comment: It was fun to work on this project with its stunning graphical images. It is an eCommerce site with links to artist's personal websites. It uses Panel, Views and UberCart frame works.
My contributions: I was responsible for information architecture, development, custom coding, theme designing and creating custom style sheets. The UX was designed by an outside firm, I had to create a theme to implement the page layout designed by the UX firm.

Comment: It is an ambitious project to connect social engineers with funding source. This site is feature rich with multiple stages of project proposal submission, judging and awarding phases. The core feature of this site is to build project judging platform and it is implemented using custom modules.
My contributions: Developing custom code to implement the "project judging" feature. This is the main feature of this site while there are other minor features implemented by other developers.

Comment: Simple site with faculty, graduate student profiles. People accounts are linked to UC Berkeley campus wide database via LDAP.
My Contributions: I was both the front-end and back-end developer for this project. I was given the link to the existing site which needed to be converted to Drupal CMS based site. I had to build the requirements from the existing site and to get page layouts. Though the site is not feature rich but it was challenging to get the page layout translated from HTML site to Drupal based site.

Zuda Comics
